Can you delegate responsibility?

The Groom and Bride can be considered the King and Queen.

The bridal party is their court; this implies government and administration. Assign responsibilities to your subordinates - are they responsible? Can they get things done? Is it done right?

If you are an executive in your day job then you know the value of a subordinate who is naturally responsible who gets things done.

An executive can predict the future and sees the big picture, makes plans and gets their staff to get the plans done.

If you are the bride, then the wedding coordinator is your subordinate, your chief of staff, the director, the person who is ultimately responsible and who should take it off your shoulders so that you can enjoy your wedding.

Please know that in addition to your wedding coordinator you need a Master of Ceremonies. The MC is the guy out front conducting the festivities. The Master of Ceremonies works with your wedding coordinator. The MC is subordinate to your wedding coordinator but never the less should be included in planning the itinerary and scripting of announcements.

Even if no one is technically hired, somebody has to wear the hat of wedding coordinator and if you are the bride... on the day of your wedding, it shouldn't be you!
