Sheila and Eric Zimmermann of LA Party Entertainment and Elegant Music
have provided music and entertainment in some of
the most beautiful locations throughout Southern California since 1990.
As wedding professionals Sheila and Eric have personally performed for thousands of weddings and
are members of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Sheila and Eric started performing together first at their own wedding and
then continued to perform for friends who were also getting married.
Sheila Zimmermann
Flutist Sheila Zimmermann is a graduate of the Aaron Copland School of
Music. Her former studies include the San Francisco Conservatory of
Music and Illinois State University where she won first place in the
Concerto Competition as well as studying Flute under Robert Stallman
Queens College NY and Yale University instructor Thomas Nyfenger.
Sheila freelances throughout Southern California. Performances include
The Redlands Symphony, Vivaldi Dreams Ensemble, Descanso Gardens "Under
the Oaks Festival", Valley College Recital series as well as the
Recital series of Sisu Raiken and performances with harpist, Elaine
Litster. She has performed at The Reagan Library, on Good Morning
America and the sea vessel, Freewinds, located in the Caribbean. Sheila
also enjoys teaching Flute and Piano. In
addition to being General Manager of Elegant Music and a busy
performing and teaching schedule Sheila is a mother of two: Sara Anne and Lance
Richard. Collaborating with her husband Pianist Eric Zimmermann Sheila
is the featured soloist on the Elegant Music Collection series of
recordings.
Eric Zimmermann
Eric is Music Director of LA Party Entertainment and Elegant Music. First
studying piano with Dr. Anton Rudnitsky and later studying with
renowned concert pianist Roman Rudnitsky Eric is a graduate of Dana
School of Music, Youngstown, Ohio where he also studied Jazz
Improvisation under Tony Leonardi. Eric is busy performing throughout
Southern California as a DJ / Master of Ceremonies, Pianist, Band
Leader and enjoys writing and arranging music for the many ensembles he
leads. As a composer Eric is a contributing member of the spoken word group
Celestial Navigations and a member of ToastMasters international,
enjoys public speaking and theater improvisation.
