Should I get a wedding coordinator or not?

If you have not been married before; if you have not thrown a party for 100 guests or more, it is hard to know what to expect. Everything is a new experience with nothing to compare it to.

To get your feet wet and experience what it takes to produce a large event, throw a party for 20 - 50 people. Consider: Invitations, the Location, Parking, Itinerary, Toasts, Food, Entertainment, Party Favors, etc.

Take notes from the start of planning until the day after the party when everything is done. Review your findings; you will learn a lot.
