Planning a wedding is not a matter of life and death...
but to some, it is much more serious than that!

Above all, have fun. If it all becomes too serious,
you are not having fun; take a step back and determine what is really important.

Planning a wedding may become overwhelming because "everything seems so important."

"EVERYTHING IS NOT EQUALLY IMPORTANT!"

Please know that you and your fiancee have already decided to be together and that the wedding itself is an announcement or public display of that commitment. You are just letting everyone else know (family and friends) what the two of you have decided and already know... and that decision is really the most important thing!

Peace of mind comes with knowing. When working with a bridal couple (usually it is the bride) I like to listen to their ideas and ask questions to help determine the sequence of the wedding.

Getting these ideas out of the bride's head and on paper in an itinerary sketch goes a long way to relieving this kind of stress.

The itinerary is then worked and organized until it is complete with all announcements written out as a script.

The bride, knowing that the itinerary is complete and turned over to someone who is reliable and responsible, experiences relief and has certainty about the success of her wedding celebration. It is the responsibility of the Master of Ceremonies to follow the itinerary/script as he conducts the festivities.
